The Owls used to pride themselves on their defense, but this year they might have to rely on their offense. Brian Sloan, a first-team all-league goalie, is gone as well as their starting sweeper. Andrew Kirshteyn was Park Ridge’s leading scorer with 15 goals. He’ll team up with first team, all-league midfielder Chris Lanzilotti, who scored eight goals. Junior Dan Revie will play alongside Lanzilotti. Revie is more of a defensive midfielder who uses his size to win possession. Moving into the sweeper role will be Austin Clemente. He was a midfielder last year, but his leadership is needed on defense. Sean McCann has big shoes to fill when he steps in goal.
