The Park Ridge Owls won their season opener 2-0 against the Emerson Cavos. Michelle Turner and Molly Revie each scored goals for the Owls on assists from Julia Perez and Erin Schoch. Cristina Bravo made 5 saves in goal for the Owls and Alyssa Schmidt had 9 saves for the Cavos. Above, Turner and Chrissy Benkovic collide while battling for control of the ball.
