The boys and girls Basketball teams finished the season with nice State play-off runs. Both teams made it to the State Sectional Semi-Finals. The Girls defeated Belvedere and Verona before falling to rival Cresskill, finishing the season with an 18-10 record. The Boys defeated Becton and Ridgefield before also falling to rival Cresskill, finishing the season 16-11. Head Boys Basketball Coach Pete Crandall was named NJIC Patriot Division Coach of the Year.

Wrestling finished the season with a 22-3 record, falling in the State Sectional Semi-Finals. The team won the NJIC Championship and was named the Bergen County Group 1/2 Team of the Year. They won the Lakeland Tournament, Bergen County Group 1 Tournament, and were ranked # 4 in the Bergen Record. Head Coach Stan Woods was named the NJIC Patriot Division Coach of the Year, District 8 Coach of the Year, Region 2 Coach of the Year, and Bergen County Coach of the Year. Stan also became the all-time win leader in the State of New Jersey.

As we head into the Spring season, although the weather has been cold and rainy outside, our teams have been hard at work. The opening day of the season was a washout, but all of our teams opened the season with victories to start the year. Hopefully the weather will break soon, and with it bring you out to support your Park Ridge Owls.
