Park Ridge wrestling coach, Stan Woods, became the winningest wrestling coach in state history with dominating wins over Old Tappan and Nutley on the same day to tie and break the previous record of 601. Woods led a Cavos’ team with two freshmen in the upper weights to a 22-3 record, a fifth-place finish in the County tournament, league title and sectional semifinal appearance in his 46th season at Emerson and boasts a 607-194-9 career record.
